The NALP Foundation announced a $750,000 pledge from the Kevin and Lorraine Kehoe Foundation to support the future of the landscape profession. The pledge is the largest in the Foundation’s history and will be paid in three annual installments of $250,000 from 2026 through 2028.

The funding will bolster key programs of the National Collegiate Landscape Competition, including the Student Leadership Luncheon, Scholarship Recognition Breakfast and Business and Leadership Workshops. These initiatives give students access to industry leaders, professional development opportunities and recognition for academic and competitive excellence.

Paul Fraynd, president of the NALP Foundation, emphasized that the pledge reflects a strong belief in nurturing the next generation of landscape professionals and reinforces long-term workforce development and leadership pipelines across the green industry.

Rooted in Kevin Kehoe’s legacy in the landscape and snow management industries, the Foundation also supports broader charitable causes, such as education, cancer research and veterans’ initiatives.
