SiteOne Landscape Supply announced a leadership transition as longtime executive Scott Salmon prepares to retire, with Daniel Laughlin named as his successor. Salmon has played a key role in shaping the company’s growth and operational strength, contributing to its position as a leading distributor serving landscape professionals across North America.

Since 2019, Salmon has played a central role in the company’s acquisition efforts, adding more than 70 companies to SiteOne.

Laughlin steps into the role with experience inside the organization. The transition reflects a planned succession process aimed at maintaining continuity while positioning the company for continued expansion.

“Daniel has worked closely with Scott over several years and has been extensively involved in executing our acquisition strategy,” said Doug Black, chairman and CEO of SiteOne. “His experience, leadership, and familiarity with our business will enable a seamless transition and we are confident in his ability to continue building on the strong foundation that has been established.”
