The Washington, D.C.-based U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s WaterSense program is issuing a technical clarification on irrigation products. The new clarification, indicated by its identification number, addresses, IC-0623-1: Eligibility of Products That Combine an Irrigation Controller With an Emission Device.
The clarification has been incorporated into the Compendium of WaterSense Product Specification, Certification and Labeling Clarifications, according to a press release from the EPA. Manufacturers and licensed certifying bodies must adhere to these clarifications when certifying products to meet relevant WaterSense product specifications.
