USCIS reaches H-2B cap for second half of FY 2025

Filing dates for supplemental H-2B visas under the Temporary Increase in H-2B Nonimmigrant Visas for FY 2025 are now available.  
March 5 marked the final receipt date for new H-2B petitions requesting employment start dates between April 1 and Sept. 30, 2025.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced that it has received enough petitions to meet the congressionally mandated cap for H-2B temporary nonagricultural worker visas for the second half of fiscal year 2025. 

March 5 marked the final receipt date for new H-2B petitions requesting employment start dates between April 1 and Sept. 30, 2025. Any petitions received after this date for that timeframe will be rejected.
