Brown and Caldwell, Walnut Creek, California, hired Erin Williams as the vice president and leader of the firm’s Mid-South business. Williams’ hiring represents Brown and Caldwell’s expansion to better serve clients in the region’s water, wastewater and stormwater sector.
Williams brings to the position 17 years of rehabilitation engineering design and supervision expertise in engineering and management roles across the public and private sector. She has expertise in separate and combined sewer collection system design, rehabilitation design using trenchless technologies, stormwater management and condition assessment.
A resident of Atlanta, Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
“I am delighted to welcome a highly experienced leader of Erin’s stature,” says Chris Peluso, Brown and Caldwell East leader. “Her client focus and first-hand knowledge of local and regional market drivers will be a great asset in helping our clients do more with less.”
As the Mid-South region leader, Williams will oversee Brown and Caldwell’s Atlanta, Nashville, Chattanooga and Memphis offices. She will diversify and align the firm’s environmental engineering and construction services portfolio, altogether aiding municipal and private clients with meeting challenges associated with capital program implementation, infrastructure reliability and effective utility management.
She will also take on recruiting, mentoring and fortifying the firm’s brand as it progresses with its regional expansion.
