Contractors get roadmap for remote monitoring services in new HindSite guide

The guide targets contractors serving large residential, commercial and high-end properties, outlining practical irrigation business models.
HindSite’s new guide, developed with Hunter Industries, shows contractors how to turn Wi-Fi controllers into recurring revenue through remote monitoring and smarter water management.

HindSite Software, in collaboration with Hunter Industries, released a new business resource aimed at helping irrigation contractors monetize Wi-Fi-enabled controller installations. The Contractor’s Guide: Irrigation Monitoring & Remote Management offers step-by-step strategies for turning smart irrigation technology into recurring revenue streams through remote monitoring and tiered service packages, according to the companies.

“We talk to so many irrigation contractors – big and small – that know they should monetize the service they provide through their installed Wi-Fi controllers, but they’re not quite sure how,” said Ted Rightmire, CEO of HindSite Software. “And there’s so little guidance written down, we saw an opportunity to continue being a partner to our clients and the industry with this.”

The guide targets contractors serving large residential, commercial and high-end properties, outlining practical business models for integrating remote system oversight into their service offerings.

The guide is available now at hindsitesoftware.com/irrigation-monitoring-remote-management-guide.
