FNGLA celebrates industry leadership through annual awards

The Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association recently opened its annual award nominations process.
The annual awards program honors leaders, innovators and advocates shaping the future of nursery, landscape and irrigation sectors.

The Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association recently opened its annual award nominations process. These awards honor individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions, demonstrated leadership and driven innovation in Florida’s nursery, greenhouse and landscape industries. 

Eight award categories recognize individuals for their service, leadership, environmental stewardship and advocacy in the industry.  

The award categories are: 

  • FNGLA Hall of Fame 
  • Wendell E. Butler 
  • FNGLA/Farm Credit Young Professional 
  • Outstanding Chapter Leader 
  • Outstanding Volunteer 
  • Outstanding Educator 
  • Friend of the Industry 
  • Legislator of the Year 

 

The FNGLA awards highlight individuals who exemplify best practices, celebrate their contributions, and encourage ongoing innovation throughout Florida’s horticulture and landscape industries. Award recipients are recognized during the FNGLA Annual Meeting during the Annual Convention. 

Nominations are open now through Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
