Takeuchi-US, Atlanta, Georgia, announced that Joseph Huling, the company’s national service and warranty manager, is now overseeing its technical service training department. Huling first joined Takeuchi in 2017, where he started as a regional service manager before being promoted to national service and warranty manger in early 2020.

“Joseph has demonstrated a high level of technical knowledge and excellent relationship-building skills since he joined us back in 2017,” says Jeff Stewart, president of Takeuchi-US. “He is also very customer-centric, which is particularly important when it comes to developing new products and training programs. All in all, Joseph possesses the qualities we need in a national training and service manager, and we look forward to seeing what he can accomplish in his new role.”

In this expanded role, Huling will support the company’s corporate sales efforts by extending product, training and support to Takeuchi’s dealers, distributors and customers who own and operate the company’s equipment.

Huling will be in charge of developing curriculums, improving training methods, scheduling training, managing the technical training team and helping the new Takeuchi Global University grow. Additionally, he will devise a structure for Takeuchi to offer advanced training courses in the years to come.

“I’m looking forward to working with our technical training team to help our students develop and improve their technical skillsets,” says Huling. “We want to provide them with the knowledge and experience they need to efficiently service and maintain both current and next-generation Takeuchi machines.”

Prior to working at Takeuchi, Huling served as the general manager of Star Equipment and Rental in Mount Airy, Georgia. He also worked as a service technician for a power equipment dealer and as a service manager for a cold storage business.

“Over the years, I’ve learned what it takes to provide high-quality service and how to come up with solutions that enhance customer productivity and overall satisfaction,” Huling says. “I’m excited to take on this new challenge with Takeuchi, and my goal is to continue building Takeuchi’s reputation for excellent customer support by providing the best training and service available in the compact equipment industry.”
