Fairfax, Virginia-based Irrigation & Lighting magazine staff won three honors in the Turf and Ornamental Communicators Association’s 2022 Communications Awards.
The Irrigation & Lighting team won the following 2022 TOCA awards:
First place
- Two-Plus Page Design, Editorial – Printed Magazines: Picture-perfect lighting
- Overall Media Kit Design: Irrigation & Lighting 2022 Media Planner
Merit
- Business Management – Commercial Publications: Building a vision
The awards, which have been running for 32 years, recognize media professionals for outstanding work in the landscaping and environmental industries and were presented at the TOCA Annual Conference in Kansas City, May 3-5.

In the past four years, the staff and contributors of Irrigation & Lighting have won 15 awards from TOCA for both editorial and design.
