Kioti Tractor, Wendell, North Carolina, witnessed record-breaking attendance at its annual meeting of national and international dealers in Orlando from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, 2021. The event stood as Kioti’s return to an in-person meeting format after the annual meeting went virtual in 2020 due to COVID-19.
The annual meeting serves as a chance for Kioti to recognize its dealer network, celebrate new product announcements and discuss industry trends. This year’s meeting followed a theme of “next level,” where attendees experienced educational sessions, product overviews, product line testing and a closing awards banquet honoring top-performing dealers.
The general session featured comedian and emcee Adam Christing, as well as keynote speakers Anthony Chan and Mary Kelly. Chan, a former Chase Bank chief economist, discussed insights on global economic trends and what inflation and supply chain challenges mean for the outdoor power equipment industry. Kelly, a retired commander of the U.S. Navy, covered best practices for dealers to ensure their business’ succession plan. Byoungwoo Kam, chief of future business development at Daedong Corporation and CEO of Hydrotec, spoke about innovation and technology advancement projects.
“Kioti’s continuously expanding dealer network across the globe is the backbone of our pack and the driving force behind our success across the compact equipment and turf care industries,” says Peter Dong-Kyun Kim, president and CEO of Daedong-USA, Inc. Kioti Tractor Division. “We were excited to once again gather in person to celebrate their success, provide educational and training opportunities, and prepare for the year ahead. We hope the experience empowered dealers to take their businesses to the next level in 2022.”
