NCNLA to host 2022 Technology Symposium

The 2022 Technology Symposium, a green industry education and networking conference presented by the North Carolina Nursery & Landscape Association, Raleigh, North Carolina, will be held on June 23 in Raleigh.

Hosted at North Carolina State University’s McKimmon Center, the one-day event is designed for green industry professionals seeking certification credit, networking and business promotion opportunities.

“The NCNLA is excited to host this year’s Technology Symposium at the NC State McKimmon Center,” says Kevin Cagle, NCNLA president. “The symposium will continue to focus on the significance of technology in the green industry and how staying on top of new and innovative solutions can help us operate more efficiently and effectively.”

As technology in the green industry continues to evolve and consumer interest grows due to the current economic climate, this technology driven conference intends to target solutions to keep green industry businesses innovative, productive and profitable.

The 2022 Technology Symposium will feature speakers Jeff Wraley of Groundwork, Mark Harrison of Stihl Inc., Brandon Schmidt of YDOP, Cameron Smith of Bayer Crop Science, Trevor Chase of Caterpillar Inc., Eric Jones of Turf Teacher and Matt Moore of Husqvarna. Topics will range from business planning to compact construction equipment to technology and pesticides.

Continuing education credits toward professional licensures will be available through certain entities.
