Steve Hohl, principal of Water Concern Ltd., Rancho Santa Margarita, California, has joined the Irrigation Association Board of Directors.

Hohl has been an active member of the irrigation industry since graduating from Cal Poly Pomona 30 years ago with a degree in irrigation science.

In addition to his service on the board with the Irrigation Association, Hohl also served on the American Society of Irrigation Consultants Board of Directors for over 20 years and currently sits on the ASIC’s certification, membership, National Collegiate Landscape Competition and conference committees.

“I believe in strengthening the relationship between design professionals and consultants with the manufacturing, distribution and contracting sectors within the IA to promote common purpose and value in the green industry,” Hohl says.

The IA Board of Directors establishes the association’s strategic direction, policies and programs. The board monitors current and evolving industry trends, determines strategic priorities, defines public policy positions and acts as a steward of the IA’s financial resources. Directors are elected each fall by members of the association and represent the diversity of member types and market segments.
