The Arizona Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects, Phoenix, Arizona, awarded Zach Temple its trailblazer award at its awards gala in October.

Temple is a certified professional engineer and holds the position of senior engineer at Lloyd Sports + Engineering. The award was presented by Hunter Industries.

“Anytime I’ve called or emailed, Zach has always responded in a timely manner and provided valuable information,” says Marshall Jennings, head groundskeeper at Salt River Fields

“It has been a pleasure working with Zach over the past 11-plus years and I wish him continued success as one of the leaders in the industry.”

Temple’s projects have playing surfaces that have hosted some of the most prominent events in the world, including the Super Bowl, the MLB All-Star Game, the BCS National Championship, and the Women’s NCC Softball College World Series.

“Without Zach’s expertise, adaptation, and commitment to his work the team at Lloyd could not tackle such high-profile projects with the confidence and commitment needed for success,” says Lloyd Principal Bob Milano Jr.
