Irrigation & Lighting magazine, Fairfax, Virginia, has opened its Changing the Landscape Awards program for this year’s entries.

Changing the Landscape AwardsThe Changing the Landscape Awards recognize incredible work done by industry professionals, with winners’ projects featured both in print and online.

Contractors can submit projects in one of two categories: irrigation, sponsored by Dawn Industries, and landscape lighting, sponsored by Brilliance LED. The application deadline is June 10.

Professionals should submit projects that took on difficult obstacles or produced outstanding results for clients. Each chosen winner will be recognized with an in-depth feature article in an upcoming issue and online.

“This program lets professionals show off the incredible work they do every day,” says Kyle Brown, Irrigation & Lighting editor-in-chief. “Last year’s winners turned in projects that included tough installation challenges and impressive renovation projects. I can’t wait to see what new work we’ll be spotlighting in the next issue of the magazine.”

Any projects within the two Changing the Landscape categories that were completed or had follow-up work done during 2021 are eligible for entry at Irrigation & Lighting’s website. Submitted projects will be judged and winners will be selected by the Irrigation & Lighting Editorial Committee. Entrants will need to include information about the scope of the project and what made the work stand out as one of their best products in the past year. They will also need to provide high-resolution images of the project’s finished stage. Contractors may submit multiple projects, but each project can only be submitted to a single category.

Information about last year’s winners and a link to enter the 2022 contest are available at www.irrigationandlighting.org/changing-the-landscape-awards/.
