Goulds Water Technology, Seneca Falls, New York, a brand of Xylem, Washington, D.C., has released the 2022 third quarter course schedule for its training facility and factory school.

The Goulds Water Technology Factory School is open to distributors, dealers, engineers and OEMs (with at least one year of industry experience) in four classes covering water systems, variable frequency drives, wastewater and commercial applications. Covering the breadth of Goulds Water Technology’s product lines and related systems, each Factory School educational session provides firsthand experience by training on actual installations to help gain valuable troubleshooting skills.

The Wastewater Pumping Product & Application School from Sept. 12-15 will cover all GWT wastewater pumps and accessories and how to select and size the proper pump for an application. It also includes a plant tour of Xylem’s manufacturing facility in Auburn, New York.

The Residential Water System Product Application & Troubleshooting School from Sept. 26-29 covers all GWT water system pumps and accessories and how to select and size the proper pump for the application. It also includes a plant tour of Xylem’s manufacturing facility in Auburn, as well as a plant tour of its Aquavar Solo Variable Frequency Drive vendor Emcom, also in Auburn.

The Commercial/Industrial Pump Product & Application School took place from Aug. 8-11 and the Variable Speed Drive Product & Application School took place from Aug. 22-25.

“Industry professionals recognize the value of in-person training, and Goulds Factory School is happy to welcome them back,” says Tom Stephan, training manager at Xylem. “Hands-on training exposes water well professionals to challenges and obstacles they may encounter in the field. Working through different scenarios in a safe training environment enables attendees to develop problem solving skills without risk.”

Led by Xylem’s trainers, the facility offers in-person, hands-on learning sessions at the Campbell Education Center laboratory.
