Irrigation Association issues call for proposals

The Irrigation Association has issued a Call for Proposals to gather ideas for future industry presentations.  
The association is looking for ideas for future industry presentations from experts in the field of irrigation. Proposals are due July 14.

The Irrigation Association, Fairfax, Virginia, has issued a Call for Proposals to gather ideas for future industry presentations.  

Single presenters or panels of individuals are invited to submit proposals for presentations on topics that impact the irrigation industry and today’s irrigation businesses, including discussions such as the latest industry trends, business growth and practices, advocacy issues, sustainability.  

The deadline to submit a proposal to the Irrigation Association is July 14.  

The IA is seeking proposals for presentations in varying lengths from 20 to 90 minutes. All submitted proposals will be considered as the IA develops a plan to provide valuable and accessible content and educational opportunities throughout the year.  

Some submissions may be selected for the Industry Insights program at the 2023 Irrigation Show and Education Week in San Antonio (Nov. 27-Dec. 1). Individuals submitting a proposal will be asked to indicate their availability to present during the Irrigation Show and Education Week. 

The Irrigation Association is requesting proposals in the following content areas:  

  • Advocacy & Government Relations 
  • Business Growth & Practices
  • Irrigation Trends & Best Practices 
  • Research 
  • Sustainability & Climate Issues 
  • Technology & Innovation 
  • Workforce Development 

Submissions will also be considered for IA education webinars, industry partner presentations and editorial content.
