Kyle Brown, editor-in-chief of Irrigation & Lighting magazine, recognized the hard work of previous winners of the Changing the Landscape Awards on three industry podcasts.

“I was so excited to get the chance to talk about some of our incredible past winners,” says Brown. “The contractors we’ve been able to feature with the Changing the Landscape Awards have done outstanding work, and I’m looking forward to seeing this year’s winners.”

He talked about the program, which showcases exceptional work done by irrigation and landscape lighting professionals, on The Morning Show on Turf’s Up Radio, Lighting for Profits and The Water Zone

The episodes covered a few of the past winners of the award program, such as Dwayne Anthony, winner of the 2022 Irrigation category, or Santiago Montoya, CEO of RN Lighting LLC, the winner of the 2022 Landscape lighting category.

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2023 Changing the Landscape Awards through July 1 in one of two categories: irrigation and landscape lighting. Each chosen winner will be recognized with an in-depth article in an upcoming issue and online.

Any projects within the above two categories that were completed or had follow-up work done during 2022 are eligible for entry. Submitted projects will be judged and winners will be selected by the Irrigation & Lighting Editorial Committee. Entrants will need to include information about the scope of the project and what made the work stand out as one of their best in the past year. Find out more about the program and enter here.

The irrigation category is sponsored by Hunter Industries. Brilliance LED is sponsoring the landscape lighting category.
