Hunter presents 2023 Anne Hunter-Welborn Circle of Excellence Award winners

Presented annually since 2018, the awards recognize innovative socially responsible practices within the green industry.
The award recognizes individuals and organizations for their contributions to sustainable practices in the industry, in alignment with Hunters’ mission.

Hunter Industries, San Marcos, California, named this year’s recipients of its Anne Hunter-Welborn Circle of Excellence Awards. Presented annually since 2018, the awards recognize innovative socially responsible practices within the green industry with the goal of inspiring others to join the movement. 

Hunter Industries evaluates nominations from its sales team to determine the recipients. 

“My aunt Anne has been a champion of social responsibility within Hunter Industries,” Greg Hunter, CEO of Hunter Industries, said in the award announcement. “She continues that work outside our organization today.” 

This year’s winners include the following: 

HyTech Seas, Sofidel

Mark Brotton, Living Water Irrigation and Landscape

Brotton advocates for sustainable landscapes that embrace New Mexico’s natural ecosystem.

Pland Collaborative integrates environmental improvement as a core principle of landscape architecture, focusing on thoughtful design to enhance environmental conditions.
